Fitness experts love to preach the virtues of patience. They’ll remind us that sculpting a physique is a slow and steady process. A journey.
When we launched Digital Muscle, 100 days ago, the mindset was the same: Slow and steady. Brick by brick. One day at a time.
As it turns out, there has been nothing “slow” or “steady” about the growth of our new media hub.
From day one, we came out of the gates fast, with a roster of some of this industry’s most respected contributors – leaders in the world of fitness, nutrition, training and bodybuilding. We then joined forces with Arnold Schwarzenegger and his team at Classic Productions to serve as the exclusive webcast provider of the Arnold Classic in Columbus. Two weeks later we followed that up with another LIVE streaming event, this time it was in Melbourne for the Arnold Classic Australia. In the days and weeks that followed, we developed Digital Muscle’s mobile platform, while improving the overall content management and visitor experience on our main site with improved navigation, more content categories, and faster load times.
While all of this was going on, we’ve been humbled by the interest we’ve received from advertisers. The relationships we build with our sponsors is one of the things that make us a bit different. We don’t just “sell banners“. Instead, we create multifaceted brand partnerships with companies looking to tap into a multi-layered media hub, complete with webcasts, broadcasts, and a growing blogosphere.
While it’s true that Rome wasn’t built in a day, the fitness community has watched closely as we’ve made each of our first 100 days incredibly productive. All it takes is the right team, the right plan, and the ability to work (while others are sleeping).
Congratulations (and Thank You) to our design & development team, our editorial staff, our sponsors, content providers, promotional partners, and our extended family at the Arnold Sports Festival for a remarkable 100 days.
